HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

– Kathy Ann Gale, 45, of 3466 S. Oceana Dr., New Era, was found guilty March 26 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced April 30 to three days in jail; six months probation; 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $1,680 in fines, costs and restitution. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of second-offense operating while intoxicated was dismissed.

– Theodore Alan Smith, 44, of 2088 Joy St., Mears, was found guilty April 30 of third-degree retail fraud and was sentenced to 20 days in jail with credit for 20 days served; 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $160 in fines, costs and restitution.

– Devon Izac-Matthew Smith, 21, of 2510 W. Meadow Ln., Rothbury, was found guilty April 26 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary over the next year and $290 in fines and costs. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed.

– Ashely Nicole Bowser, 24, of 11701 Bevins Rd., Montague, was found guilty April 30 of marijuana use and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; driver’s license suspended 180 days/restricted after 30 days; and $650 in fines and costs. Charges of marijuana possession and failure to report an accident were dismissed.

– Obed Isaias Gaytan, 29, of 390 N. Michigan Ave., Shelby, was found guilty April 30 of third-degree retail fraud and was sentenced to 19 days in jail with credit for 19 days served; 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $290 in fines and costs.

– Holly Marie Revilla, 34, of 3610 N. Karen St., Hart, was found guilty April 16 of larceny less than $200 and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; $1,200 in restitution; and $400 in fines and costs. One count of larceny $200-$1,000 was dismissed.

– William Russell Kett, 28, of 9075 Wilke Rd., Fremont, was found guilty April 30 of marijuana use and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; driver’s license suspended 180 days/restricted after 30 days; and $450 in fines and costs.

– Christopher John Colbert, 24, of 4252 Beattie Rd., Muskegon, was found guilty April 26 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail over the next year and $290 in fines and costs.

– Casey Edward Wilcox, 42, of 2499 Sycamore St., Twin Lake, was found guilty April 26 of unlawful license plates and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail over the next year and $125 in fines and costs.

– Kenneth Duane Cooley, 37, of 3940 N. Green Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty April 26 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail over the next year and $290 in fines and costs. One count of unlawful license plates was dismissed.

– Jess Albert Parker, 26, of 2335 Dowd St., Muskegon, was found guilty April 26 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail over the next year and $290 in fines and costs. Charges of improper plates and driving an registered vehicle were dismissed.

– Andrew Kenneth Rumsey, 31, of 7969 E. Grant Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty April 26 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail over the next year and $290 in fines and costs. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed.

– Billy Sharnowski, 31, of 225 Gibson Rd., Branch, was found guilty April 24 of driving while license not valid and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail over the next year and $300 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
