HART — Two people were injured following a three-vehicle crash on Polk Road near the McDonald’s restaurant Thursday, April 12, at approximately 3:30 p.m.
Few details were immediately available as police were on scene investigating the accident. Hart Police Chief Juan Salazar said that a Ford 150 pickup truck rear-ended a westbound dump truck, and a bucket truck with a wood chipper was also involved in the crash. The bucket truck was pulled off on the north side of the road following the wreck.
Traffic was snarled on Polk Road as emergency crews from the Hart Police Department, the Hart post of the Michigan State Police, Oceana County EMS and the Hart Area Fire Department, responded to the scene.
More information will be provided when it is available.
