Several crashes during spring snow storm.

The spring snow storm Tuesday and Wednesday, April 3 and 4, created slippery roads in Oceana County that led to several vehicle crashes. No serious injuries were reported.
The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:
Tuesday, April 3, 2018:
– 4:21 a.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), a 36-yer-old Hesperia man was arrested for no insurance and improper plate, Maple Island Road, Greenwood Township.
– 4:38 p.m., (Michigan State Police), two-vehicle crash causing non-life-threatening injuries, southbound US 31 near Oceana Drive, Pentwater Township.
– 7:38 a.m., (OCSO), vehicle crash, Oceana Drive, Shelby Township.
– 4:23 p.m., (OCSO), vehicle crash, southbound US 31, Grant Township.
– 5:22 p.m., (OCSO), harassing phone calls, East Loop Road, Ferry Township.
Wednesday, April 4, 2018:
– 1:50 a.m., (MSP), one-vehicle crash, Loop Road and 172nd Avenue, Newfield Township.
– 3:37 a.m., (OCSO), vehicle crash, southbound US 31, Grant Township.
– 4:41 a.m., (OCSO), vehicle crash, East Tyler Road, Elbridge Township.
– 1:43 p.m., (OCSO), vehicle crash, North Oceana Drive, Grant Township.
– 4:35 p.m., (OCSO), vehicle crash, South Water Road, Grant Township.
– 4:41 p.m., (OCSO), vehicle crash, 200 block of East Lincoln Street, City of Hart.
– 8:40 p.m., (MSP), a 32-year-old Hart man was arrested for operating without insurance and marijuana possession, Griswold Street near Polk Road, City of Hart.
– 8:51 p.m., (OCSO), s 20-yer-old Hart man was cited for no operator’s license, M 20 near 132nd Avenue, Ferry Township.
*MSP reported several additional vehicle slide-offs Wednesday due to the snowy and icy road conditions.
