Police busy with warrant, drunk driving arrests.

The following is police activity in Oceana County over the weekend:
Friday, March 30, 2018:
– 12:10 p.m., (Michigan State Police), malicious destruction of a mailbox, 3000 block of Yale Road, Otto Township.
– 1:20 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, 144th Avenue and Garfield Road, Ferry Township.
– 7:42 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), a 43-year-old Mears man is a suspect in a case involving damaged property caused by a vehicle crash on North 48th Avenue in Mears. The crash caused damage to a residential yard. The suspect could face charges of malicious destruction of property and failure to report an accident, said Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast. The case is under investigation.
– 8:59 p.m., (OCSO), a 35-year-old Mears man was arrested on a warrant, North Mears Road near Fox Road, Golden Township.
– 9:05 p.m., (OCSO), a 29-year-old Whitehall man was arrested on a warrant and a charge of transporting open intoxicants, and a 28-year-old Fruitport woman was arrested for open intoxicants, East Skeels Road, Greenwood Township.
– 10:03 p.m., (OCSO), a 22-year-old Shelby man was arrested for operating while intoxicated (OWI), North 56th Avenue, Golden Township.
Saturday, March 31, 2018:
– 10:15 a.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, US 31 and Parson Road, Pentwater Township.
Sunday, April 1, 2018:
– 12:31 a.m., (MSP), a 52-year-old Livonia man was arrested for third-offense OWI and second-offense driving while license suspended, US 31 and Monroe Road, Weare Township.
– 12:50 a.m., (MSP), a 35-year-old Pentwater man was arrested on a warrant, Monroe Road and US 31, Weare Township.
– 4:45 p.m., (MSP), vehicle crash, no injuries, Winston Road and 56th Avenue, Claybanks Township.
– 6:20 a.m., (MSP), a 39-year-old Hesperia woman was arrested on a warrant, 192nd Avenue and M 20, Newfield Township.
