Man sentenced to jail for home invasion.

HART — A 25-year-old Ludington man was sentenced to 10 months in jail and ordered to pay $2,913.37 in restitution Monday, April 2, in 27th Circuit Court for a conviction of second-degree home invasion.
Tyler Joe Brown, of 4545 W. Anthony Rd., was arrested by the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office last October for the felony charge. Brown admitted that he broke into a home on Washington Avenue in Colfax Township last June.
Judge Bradley G. Lambrix ordered two years probation, and Brown received 188 days jail credit.
The maximum penalty for second-degree home invasion is 15 years in prison.
