HART — The following were sentenced recently in 27th Circuit Court:
– Henry Verschueren, 27, of 2149 152nd Ave., Hesperia, pleaded “no contest” Jan. 9 to accosting children for immoral purposes and was
sentenced March 5 to serve nine months in jail with credit for two days served; five years probation; and $490 in fines and costs. Sex offender registration completed. One count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of using a computer to commit a crime were dismissed.
– Devin Joseph Kludt, 22, of 2724 Hamstrom Rd., Portage, Indiana, was found guilty Dec. 18, 2017 of narcotic/cocaine delivery less than
50 grams and was sentenced March 5 to 90 days discretionary jail with credit for one day served; 18 months probation; driver’s license suspended 180 days/restricted after 30 days; and $490 in fines and costs. One count of delivery/manufacture of methamphetamine and one count of felony firearms were dismissed.
– Cecily Robin Choi, 24, of 10 Ocean Blvd., Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey, was found guilty March 5 of probation violation and was sentenced to 90 days in jail with full day-for-day credit for inpatient treatment; driver’s license suspended 180 days/restricted after 30 days; and $400 in fines and costs. Probation and Holmes Youthful Trainee Act (HYTA) status are revoked. Probation stems from a Feb. 21, 2017 conviction of controlled substance – possession of a non-narcotic. Mugshot unavailable.
