HART – A 34-year-old Rothbury man faces serving up to a year in jail after pleading guilty in 27th Circuit Court Monday, March 5, to felon in possession of a firearm.

David Quintero, of 2423 W. Meadow Lane, was arrested Jan. 19 by the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) for felony charges of larceny of a firearm and possession of a firearm by a felon, along with a high-court misdemeanor of lying to a police officer.

Quintero’s other two charges were dismissed Monday when he pleaded to the felony firearm charge.
