Rothbury man arrested for selling marijuana at car pool.

SHELBY TOWNSHIP — A 27-year-old Rothbury man was arrested for delivery/manufacture of marijuana by Oceana County sheriff’s deputies Friday, Feb. 2, at 11 p.m. in the parking lot of the New Era car pool on M 20 near US 31 after police were forwarded information that he was going to be at that location for the drug deal, according to Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.
“He sent out information that he would have marijuana for sale, and then that information was forwarded to police,” said Mast.
Police did not want to embellish on how the information was conveyed.

Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018:
– 8:21 a.m., (Michigan State Police), one-vehicle crash causing injury, US 31 and Oceana Drive, Pentwater Township.
– 11:56 p.m., (MSP), a 25-year-old Rothbury man was arrested for operating while intoxicated (OWI), Oceana Drive and Polk Road, Hart Township.
Friday, Feb. 2, 2018:
– 1:40 a.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), a 26-year-old Bitely man was arrested for OWI with a high blood alcohol content, East Madison Road, Crystal Township.
– 1:51 a.m., (MSP), assault, Rothbury Tavern, 7000 block of South Michigan Avenue, Village of Rothbury. Case is under investigation.
– 2:45 a.m., (MSP), a 34-year-old Rothbury man was arrested for resisting/assaulting/obstructing police, 600 block of East Arthur Road, Otto Township.
– 9 a.m., (MSP), a 29-year-old Mears man was arrested on a fugitive warrant, 500 block of Deer Road, Hart Township.
– 10:30 p.m., (MSP), a 36-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for second-offense driving while license suspended, Polk Road and Oceana Drive, Hart Township.

– 7:44 a.m., (OCSO), reckless driving, northbound US 31, Shelby Township.
– 3:36 p.m., (MSP), two-vehicle crash, no injuries, Polk Road and 72nd Avenue, Hart Township.
– 5:13 p.m., (OCSO), vehicle slide-off, North Oceana Drive, Weare Township.
– 7:42 p.m., (OCSO), a 43-year-old Hart man was arrested on a failure-to-appear warrant, North Oceana Drive, Weare Township.
– 9:36 p.m., (OCSO), vehicle slide-off, northbound US 31, Shelby Township.
– 10:28 p.m., (MSP), a 40-year-old Pentwater woman was arrested for domestic violence, 100 block of Rush Street, Village of Pentwater.
Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018:
– 3:32 p.m., (OCSO), a 26-year-old Shelby woman was arrested for domestic assault, South Sessions Road, Shelby Township.
– 4:30 p.m., (MSP), domestic assault, under investigation, 700 block of South 176th Avenue, Newfield Township.
