GRANT TOWNSHIP — A 35-year-old Fremont woman received minor injuries when the 1998 Ford Econoline van she was driving on East Wilke Road near 112th Avenue struck a deer Friday evening, Jan. 26, according to an Oceana County Sheriff’s Office accident report.
Brandy Alexandria Estes did not require hospitalization, and she was wearing a seat belt in the 6:42 p.m. crash.
“Brandy was traveling east on Wilke Road when a deer ran out in front of her vehicle,” the report states. “Brandy was unable to avoid the deer, causing severe damage to the vehicle. Brandy also sustained minor injuries.”
