FERRY TOWNSHIP — Two Hesperia women suffered minor injuries in a rollover crash Wednesday morning, Jan. 10, on M 20 west of 140th Avenue, according to an Oceana County Sheriff’s Office report.
Sheri Lyn Hunt, 62, was driving a 2009 Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck on the rain-slicked road, and Mary Lynn Perrigo, 57, was a passenger, the report states.
“Driver, Sheri Hunt, stated she just passed an Oceana County Road Commission salt truck, and it felt like her truck was lifted up in the air. She stated she then lost control of her truck, crossed the center line, ran off the roadway left and overturned in the ditch,” the report narrative states.
Both women were wearing their seat belts in the 8:20 a.m. crash. They sought treatment at Spectrum Gerber Hospital in Fremont, but were not transported by ambulance, according to the report.
