HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:
– Dylon Christopher McNeil, 24, of 10626 Williams Rd., Montague, was found guilty Jan. 8 of attempted unlawful use of a motor vehicle and was sentenced to nine days in jail; 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; $1,680 in restitution; and $450 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).
– Edward Thomas Lopez, 42, of 7219 S. 88th Ave., Rothbury, was found guilty Jan. 8 of malicious destruction of property (MDOP) less than $200 and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $450 in fines and costs. One count of domestic violence was dismissed.
– Brianna Lynn King, 17, of 1745 W. Jackson Rd., Hart, was found guilty Jan. 8 of person under 21 with a blood alcohol content (BAC) of .02-.07 and was sentenced to Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE) and $415 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated (OWI) and one count of minor in possession of alcohol (MIP) were dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Shayne Chris Smith, 29, of 235 McClaren Lake Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty Nov. 20 of possession of marijuana and was sentenced Jan. 8 to 28 days in jail with credit for 28 days served; one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and a $75 fine. One count of carrying a concealed weapon was dismissed. In a separate file, Smith was found guilty Nov. 20 of OWI and was sentenced Jan. 8 to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; outpatient treatment; and $415 in fines and costs. Convictions reportable to SOS.
– Cody Lee Croff, 23, of 13521 James Ave., Muskegon, was found guilty Jan. 3 of stalking and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; no contact with the victims; and $300 in fines and costs.
