78th District Court sentencings posted Dec. 21, 2017.

HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:
– Jose Alfredo Villareal, 43, of 1588 Hammett Rd., Hart, was found guilty Dec. 18 of operating without insurance and was sentenced to 28 days in jail with credit for 28 days served; one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $150 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS) dismissed.
– Brandon Leon Salazar, 20, of 35 Sessions St., Shelby, was found guilty Nov. 20 of malicious destruction of property (MDOP) $200-$1,000 and was sentenced Dec. 18 to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; $507 in restitution; and $400 in fines and costs. One count of assault and battery was dismissed.
– Joshua Samuel-Thomas Jenkins, 22, of 3392 Whitehall Rd., Apt. B, North Muskegon, was found guilty Dec. 18 of domestic violence and was sentenced to nine days in jail; 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; six months probation; and $975 in fines and costs.
– Esteven Escamilla, 21, of 6676 N. 126th Ave., Hart, was found guilty Dec. 18 of second-offense DWLS and was sentenced to nine days in jail; one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Trad Paul Sheafor, 27, of 4159 W. Tyler Rd., Hart, was found guilty Dec. 18 of second-offense DWLS and was sentenced Dec. 18 to 30 days in jail; one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of unlawful license plate use was dismissed.
– Daniel Lee Nelson, 27, of 3222 E. Minke Rd., Walkerville, was found guilty Dec. 12 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced Dec. 12 to 90 days discretionary jail over the next year and $290 in fines and costs. One count of marijuana possession was dismissed.
– Steven Joseph Mixer, 20, of 4916 Orshall Rd., Whitehall, was found guilty Dec. 12 of failure to report an accident and was sentenced Dec. 12 to 90 days discretionary jail over the next year and $325 in fines and costs.
– Jacob Paul Erickson, 38, of 5681 W. Fox Rd., Mears, was found guilty Dec. 12 of failure to report an accident and was sentenced Dec. 12 to 90 days discretionary jail over the next year and $325 in fines and costs.
– Andrew James Lane, 26, of 3259 Evanston, Muskegon, was found guilty Dec. 12 of DWLS and was sentenced Dec. 12 to 93 days discretionary jail over the next year and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Carl Lee Herring, 27, of 5757 W. 52nd St., Baldwin, was found guilty Dec. 12 of DWLS and was sentenced Dec. 12 to 93 days discretionary jail over the next year and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
