HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:
– Sara Jean Tice, 30, of 9456 E. Lane Dr., Montague, was found guilty Dec. 11 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); and $1,040 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.
– Esteven Escamilla, 21, of 6676 N. 126th Ave., Hart, was found guilty Dec. 11 of operating without insurance and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs.
– Travis Lee Smallegan, 42, of 3241 N. 72nd Ave., Lot 38, Hart, was found guilty Nov. 6 of marijuana possession and was sentenced Dec. 11 to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Xavier Hinojosa, 21, of 1977 S. 64th Ave., Shelby, was found guilty Dec. 11 of operating without insurance and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. One count of unlawful license plate use was dismissed.
– Wallace Christopher Dells, 43, of 2062 Flossie Ave., SW, Wyoming, Michigan, was found guilty Dec. 11 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; must complete substance abuse recommendation; and $1,090 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.
– Jake Oliver Olivas, Jr., 28, of 6612 N. 126th Ave., Hart, was found guilty Dec. 11 of operating without security and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs.
– James Richard Thomas, 41, of 8869 5 Mile Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty Dec. 11 of disorderly person – drunk and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.
– Jeremy James Broughton, 41, of 3135 Hall Rd., Muskegon, was found guilty Dec. 5 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail over the next one year and $335 in fines and costs. One count of second-offense DWLS as dismissed.
– Michael Benjamin Hansen, 35, of 249 W. North St., Walkerville, was found guilty Dec. 5 of DWLS and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail over the next one year and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of second-offense DWLS was dismissed.
