Police busy with crashes, drunk driving arrests.

The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:

Monday, Dec. 11, 2017

– 1:55 p.m., (Michigan State Police), vehicle crash, minor injuries, Shelby Road and 58th Avenue, Benona Township.

Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017

– 9:01 a.m., ((MSP), a 32-year-old Montague man was cited for operating without a license following a one-vehicle crash, Roosevelt Road and 48th Avenue, Claybanks Township. No injuries occurred in the crash.

– 10:20 a.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), property damage and larceny, a toilet paper dispenser valued at $50 was damaged and a large roll of toilet paper was stolen, Rothbury Rest Area, US 31, Grant Township.

– 11:25 a.m., (MSP), assault, under investigation, 7000 block of South Michigan Avenue, Village of Rothbury.

– 11:46 a.m., (OCSO), domestic assault, South 168th Avenue, Greenwood Township. A 27-year-old Hesperia woman allegedly assaulted her mother.

– 4:57 p.m,. (MSP), a 25-year-old Shelby man was arrested for operating while intoxicated (OWI) following a one-vehicle crash, 144th Avenue and Buchanan Road, Ferry Township. No injuries occurred in the crash.

– 11:39 p.m., (OCSO), a 23-year-old Hesperia man was arrested on charges of resisting arrest and OWI, East Garfield Road, Newfield Township.
