HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:
– James Jordan Guiles, 26, of 1916 Ray St., Muskegon, was found guilty Dec. 4 of assault and battery and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $5,180 in restitution; and a $75 fine. “Defendant to come back to court after release from prison to set up a payment plan,” his court file states.
– Herman Ray Evelhoch, 24, of 1481 S. 192nd Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty Nov. 30 of improper plates and was sentenced to 90 days at the court’s discretion over the next one year and $125 in fines and costs.
– Lenin Alexander Castillo-Rubcoba, 21, of 3241 N. 72nd Ave., Hart, was found guilty Nov. 29 of selling/furnishing alcohol to a minor and was sentenced to 60 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $225 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).
– John Everette Wiggins, 26, of 928 W. Grand Ave., Muskegon, was found guilty Nov. 30 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days at the court’s discretion over the next one year and $290 in fines and costs. One count of driving while license suspended (DWLS) was dismissed.
– Aaron Rocky Scott, 29, of 2324 Hughes Ave., Norton Shores, was found guilty Nov. 30 of DWLS and was sentenced to 93 days at the court’s discretion over the next one year and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of second-offense DWLS was dismissed.
– Stormie Leigh Sheafor, 26, of 12 S. State St., Hart, was found guilty Nov. 30 of allowing a person drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days at the court’s discretion over the next one year and $290 in fines and costs. One count of DWLS was dismissed.
– Stephen Michael Ryder, 27, of 3628 Lees Lane, Hart, was found guilty Dec. 4 of marijuana possession and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; driver’s license suspended 180 days/restricted after 30 days; outpatient treatment; six months probation; and $575 in fines and costs.
