HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:
– Krista Marie Wieling, 44, of 8037 E. Baker Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty Nov. 20 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); and $1,055 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.
– Jason Cline Dyer, 45, of 6947 S. 56th Ave., Montague, was found guilty Nov. 20 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; AHSE; and $1,055 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Ethan Jacobs May, 33, of Muskegon, (street address not available), was found guilty Oct. 30 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; AHSE; and $1,090 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of second-offense operating while intoxicated and one count of operating without insurance were dismissed.
– Jacob Merle Cram, 22, of 7818 E. Gale Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty Nov. 14 of driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail over the next one year and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Travis Arden Clements, 35, of 5622 S. Water Rd., New Era, was found guilty Nov. 14 of DWLS and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail over the next one year and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Robert Joseph Jeffries, 62, of 457 E. Third St., Pentwater, was found guilty Nov. 14 of wildlife conservation – general violation. His sentence is delayed until Feb. 7, 2018, and “if no further problems, defendant can withdraw plea,” his court file states.
– Mary Ann King, 36, of 191 E. Bogue St., Walkerville, was found guilty Nov. 14 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail over the next one year and $290 in fines and costs. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed.
– Casey Jesus Melchor, 27, of 578 S. Harvey St., Shelby, was found guilty Nov. 14 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail over the next one year and $290 in fines and costs. One count of second-offense DWLS was dismissed.
– Dandre Leon Smart, 27, of 2289 Orchard Ave., Muskegon, was found guilty Nov. 14 of trespassing and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail over the next one year and $325 in fines and costs.
– Nicholas Lynn Blair, 22, of 988 32nd Ave., Shelby, was found guilty Nov. 14 of allowing a person to drive violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail over the next one year and $290 in fines and costs. One count of OWI was dismissed.
– Rodney Benjamin Warwick, 20, of 6715 Bickett Blvd., Lot 348, Lansing, was found guilty Nov. 20 of domestic violence and was sentenced to nine days in jail; 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; six months probation; and $585 in fines and costs.
– Steven George Leszek, 43, of 9282 S. 192nd Ave., Holton, was found guilty Nov. 20 of larceny less than $200 and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; $200 in restitution; and $400 in fines and costs. One count of larceny by conversion $200-$1,000 was dismissed.
– Shane Robert Kajtazi, 21, of 601 Sand St., Pentwater, pleaded “no contest” Nov. 20 to lying to a police officer regarding a one to four year crime investigation and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs.
– Joshua Charles Jahn, 34, of 1972 E. Swede Rd., Spruce, Michigan, was found guilty Nov. 20 of disorderly person – drunk and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs.
Dismissals
– James Clay Patton, 22, of 701 S. English, Sidell, Illinois, one count of trespassing was dismissed Nov. 20 on a delayed sentence.
– Jason Roy Coffell, 40, of 1041 W. Arthur Rd., Rothbury, one count of illegal sale/use of a financial transaction device was dismissed Nov. 20″ without prejudice.”
