Suspect flees from police during chase.

HART — A suspect who led Michigan State Police troopers from the Hart post on “a short chase” on Polk Road near State Street Thursday, Oct. 26, at 1:30 a.m. and fled the scene has been identified and faces charges of fleeing and eluding police and drug possession, said MSP Sgt. Charles Hockanson.

No arrests have been, and the case is under investigation. No other information was immediately available.
