Meth arrest at Rothbury rest area.

GRANT TOWNSHIP — A 53-year-old Muskegon man was arrested on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession Thursday, Oct. 19, shortly before 9:30 p.m. at the Rothbury rest area, according to Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.
Sheriff’s deputies were on patrol at the rest area, which has been a popular location for drug activity in recent months. They spotted a “suspicious vehicle,” and found the man with meth in his possession, he said.
The suspect was lodged in the Oceana County Jail. He has not yet been arraigned, so police are not releasing his name.
