Man hospitalized after wife allegedly assaults him.

LEAVITT TOWNSHIP — A 34-year-old Walkerville man was hospitalized Saturday, Sept. 30, after his wife allegedly assaulted him, according to Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.
Deputies were dispatched to a domestic assault the 5300 block of East Harrison Road at 12:38 a.m., Mast said.
Weapons were displayed but not used during the assault, he said.
The case has been turned over to the Oceana County Prosecutor’s Office to determine what charges will be filed against the wife, who is a 31-year-old Walkerville woman.
In an unrelated incident, deputies arrested a 27-year-old Shelby man for driving while license suspended and making a false police report Saturday at 12:20 p.m. on First Street in the Village of Shelby.
