Alleged drunk driver hits power pole.

BENONA TOWNSHIP — A 69-year-old Paw, Paw man was arrested for operating while intoxicated by Oceana County sheriff’s deputies Saturday, Sept. 23, shortly after 5 p.m. after the 2000 Toyota Camry he was driving crashed into a power pole on Scenic Drive near Stone Road, according to Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.

The man, who received minor injuries in the crash, was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

Friday, Sept. 22, 2017:

– 6 p.m., (Michigan State Police), larceny from a residence, 1000 block of East Minke Road, Crystal Township.

– 10:25 p.m., (MSP), a 53-year-old Shelby man was cited for improper plate, Polk Road and 72nd Avenue, Hart Township.

Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017:

– 1:50 a.m., (MSP), a 32-year-old White Cloud man was arrested for drug possession and driving while license suspended (DWLS), M 20 and 128th Avenue, Ferry Township.

– Noon, (MSP), a 54-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for operating without an operator’s license, M 20 and 88th Avenue, Shelby Township.

– 1:45 p.m., (MSP), marijuana possession, under investigation, M 20 and 120th Avenue, Ferry Township.

Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017:

– 12:32 a.m., (MSP), a 19-year-old Hart man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, Main and Plum streets, City of Hart.

– 3:20 p.m., (MSP), larceny, Wesco, 7000 block of Michigan Avenue, Village of Rothbury.
