Two arrested for meth possession.

HART TOWNSHIP — A 28-year-old Shelby man and a 25-year-old Hart man were arrested by Oceana County sheriff’s deputies for methamphetamine possession Sunday, Sept. 10, at 1:30 a.m. on West Polk Road, according to Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.
The following is other recent police activity in Oceana County:
Friday, Sept. 8, 2017:
– 2:30 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), a 29-year-old White Cloud man was arrested at the Newaygo County Sheriff’s Office and transported to the Oceana County Jail for an outstanding warrant.
– 5:10 p.m., (Michigan State Police), car/deer crash, 192nd Avenue, Newfield Township.
– 10 p.m., (MSP), single-vehicle rollover crash, no injuries, 56th Avenue and Polk Road, Golden Township.
Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017:
– 2 p.m., (MSP), larceny of medications, 6000 block of Oceana Drive, Weare Township.
– 4:34 p.m., (OCSO), a larceny of a 42-inch Husqvarna riding mower and firewood, West North Street, Village of Walkerville.
– 9:17 p.m., (OCSO), a 54-year-old Hastings, Michigan man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, West Hazel Road, Golden Township. Two suspects are being investigated.
Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017:
– 9:21 a.m., (OCSO), a 43-year-old Walkerville man was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in Alpena County, North 186th Avenue, Colfax Township.
– 1:55 p.m., (OCSO), assault and battery, no arrests, two suspects, South Foster Street, Ferry Township.
– 8 p.m., (OCSO), a 22-year-old Hesperia man was arrested at the Newaygo County Sheriff’s Office and transported to the Oceana County Jail for an outstanding warrant for failure to appear.
– 10:15 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, Shelby Road and US 31, Shelby Township.
