HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:
Norman
– John Joseph Norman, Jr., 20, of 2838 E. Garfield Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty July 3 of narcotic or cocaine possession less than 25 grams and was sentenced Aug. 28 to serve four months up front of nine-month discretionary jail term with credit for 70 days served; 18 months probation; driver’s license suspended one year/restricted after 60 days; and $258 in fines and costs. One count of marijuana possession was dismissed.
– Sean Ryan Pheney, 42, of 4480 Brunswick, Holton, was found guilty
Pheney
July 3 of marijuana delivery and was sentenced Aug. 28 to serve five months up front of a six-month discretionary jail term with credit for one day served; two years probation; driver’s license suspended six months/restricted after 30 days; and $258 in fines and costs.
Thomas
– Kenneth Alan Thomas, 36, of 7990 White Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty July 3 of tampering with an electronic monitoring device (tether) and was sentenced Aug. 28 to one year and one day to two years in prison, which must be served consecutively to any parole violation sanctions he may receive; and $198 in fines and costs.
