HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:
– Lori Louise Turowski, 43, of 5437 2nd St., Pentwater, was found guilty Aug. 22 of disturbing the peace and was sentenced to 90 days at court’s discretion over the next one year and $325 in fines and costs. One count of disorderly – drunk was dismissed.
– Ronald Gene Matlock, 50, of 753 S. 168th Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty Aug. 24 of dog running at large and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail over the next one year and $155 in fines and costs.
– Christian Aguilar, 30, of 21282 W. Willow, Lake Zurichh, Illinois, was found guilty Aug. 22 of trespassing and was sentenced to 30 days at the court’s discretion over the next one year and $325 in fines and costs. One count of disorderly – drunk was dismissed.
– Lisa Kristen McLean, 28, of 2666 Alpine Ave., Suite D, Walker, Michigan, was found guilty Aug. 22 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days at the court’s discretion over the next one year and $290 in fines and costs. One count of driving while license suspended (DWLS) was dismissed.
– Angela Marie Alltop, 41, of 1588 E. Hammett Rd., Hart, was found guilty Aug. 25 of disturbing the peace and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail over the next one year and $325 in fines and costs. One count of domestic violence was dismissed.
– Martina Marie Hudson, 29, of 1101 Baseline Rd., Shelby, was found guilty Aug. 23 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail over the next one year and $290 in fines and costs. One count of DWLS was dismissed.
– Dani Lee Carlson, 43, of 829 Elliott Ave., Grand Haven, was found guilty July 10 of operating while impaired and was sentenced Aug. 28 to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time if imposed; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); and $1,055 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.
– Margaret Rose-Marie Mendez, 28, of 63 Ferry St., Shelby, was found guilty Aug. 28 of operating without insurance and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs.
– Dolly Marie Little, 39, of 49 S. State St., Hart, was found guilty Aug. 28 of larceny less than $200 and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; a $75 fine; and $20 in restitution.
– Daniel Lee DeHoff, 27, of 11423 Highway 31, Montague, was found guilty Aug. 28 of disorderly – jostling and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. One count of domestic violence was dismissed.
– David Michael Pierce, 41, of 917 Apple Ave., Muskegon, was found gulty Aug. 1 of domestic violence and was sentenced Aug. 28 to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; six months probation; and $975 in fines and costs.
– Sergio Ramon Escamilla, 24, of 2919 E. Scout Rd., Hart, was found guilty Aug. 28 of third-degree retail fraud and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; $108 in restitution; and $400 in fines and costs.
– Brandi Lee Pulsipher, 26, of 9430 E. Filmore Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty Aug. 28 of harboring misdemeanants and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $450 in fines and costs.
– Robert Anthony Curry-Carter, 54, of 414 S. Dryden St., Hart, was found guilty Aug. 28 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; AHSE; and $1,040 in fines and costs. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.
Dismissals
– Jeffrey Brian MacArthur, 28, of 916 N. 34th Ave., Mears, two counts of felonious assault and one count of brandishing firearms in public were dismissed Aug. 28 “without prejudice. “The victim was unwilling to cooperate with the prosecution,” said Oceana County Prosecutor Joseph Bizon.
– Cayetano Mejia, 22, of 2516 W. Grant Rd., Shelby, one count of domestic violence was dismissed Aug. 28 “without prejudice” because the the “victim is unwilling to cooperate with the prosecution,” court records state.
– Tracy Thomas Larsen, 57, of 4695 Bradford St., NE, Grand Rapids, one count of marine safety – operating under the influence of liquor (OUIL) was dismissed Aug. 9 “without prejudice,” according to court records. “After a motion hearing, a plea bargain was reached after all of the evidence was presented,” said Bizon.
