HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:
– Brandon Scott, 25, of 8-120 Centre St., London, Ontario, was found guilty Aug. 7 of disorderly person – jostling and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $500 in fines and costs. One count of domestic violence was dismissed.
– Kevin Lawrence Stafford, 55, of 6895 N. 192nd Ave., Walkerville, was found guilty May 1 of domestic violence and was sentenced Aug. 7 to 10 days in jail with credit for 10 days served; six months probation; and $625 in fines and costs.
– Jaime Bernal, 32, of 5397 E. Harrison Rd., Walkerville, was found guilty Aug. 7 of marijuana possession and was sentenced to 30 days in jail; outpatient treatment; one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; six months probation; and $525 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).
– Richard Victor Bean, 56, of 5286 E. Skeels Rd., Holton, was found guilty Aug. 7 of driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to nine days in jail; one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Tess Kitty-Lee Baker, 23, of Bitely, Michigan, was found guilty Aug. 7 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); and $1,015 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.
– Jennifer Jean Rowland, 31, of 1139 59th St., Grand Junction, Michigan, was found guilty July 10 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to 28 days in jail with credit for 28 days served; six months probation; outpatient treatment; 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $1,550 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of no operator’s license on person dismissed.
– Lamont Anthony Wingate, 35, of 149 Harris Rd., Ypsilanti, Michigan, was found guilty Aug. 7 of marijuana use and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; driver’s license suspended one year/restricted after 30 days; and $400 in fines and costs. One count of marijuana possession was dismissed.
– Kevin William Magaluk, 34, of 2120 Delano St., Muskegon, was found guilty Aug. 7 of operating without insurance and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs.
– Ramiro Trevino, 55, of 7403 S. Michigan Ave., Rothbury, was found guilty Aug. 7 of DWLS and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed.
– Kimberly Lee Dean, 43, of 374 W. Shelby Rd., Shelby, was found guilty Aug. 1 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $290 in fines and costs. One count of DWLS was dismissed.
– Armando Felix, 42, of 10 N. Morris St., Pentwater, was found guilty Aug. 1 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $290 in fines and costs. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed.
– Todd Anthony Wentworth, 47, of 2040 Duck Lake Rd., Whitehall, was found guilty Aug. 1 of disturbing the peace and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail over the next year and $225 in fines and costs. One count of assault and battery was dismissed.
– Mary Ann Montambo, 58, of 8880 S. 180th, Holton, was found guilty Aug. 1 of unlawful license plate use and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $125 in fines and costs. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed.
– Avyon Montrece Sanchez, 18, of 3028 Dixiebrooke St., Erie, Michigan, was found guilty Aug. 1 of minor in possession of alcohol and was sentenced to $300 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
