HPD sponsors TEAM golf outing.

SHELBY — The Hart Police Department will sponsor its annual TEAM (Teaching, Educating And Mentoring) golf outing at the Oceana Golf Club Sunday, Sept. 24.

The golf course is located at 3333 W. Weaver Rd. Check-in time is 11 a.m. with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m.

Sgt. Kevin Skipski of the Hart Police Department, who is TEAM instructor at Hart Middle School.

The outing is a four-person scramble ($50 per person) and an 18-hole event. Food, door prizes, closest to the pin, championship first and second flights/skins will all be part of the event.

All money raised will be used for the Hart Police Department’s TEAM school resource program currently taught to fifth grade students at Hart Middle School.

“The golf outing has always been a great event and additionally a fun way to donate to such a great and effective school program,” said Hart Police Chief Juan Salazar.
