HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:
– Steven Lynn Satterlee, 26, of 8363 N. 46th St., Augusta, Michigan, was found guilty July 27 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $290 in fines and costs.
– Johnny Lee Hawley, Jr., 37, of 5709 S. Okemos Trial, New Era, was found guilty July 27 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $290 in fines and costs.
– Antonio Rocha, 22, of 6827 N. 126th Ave., Hart, was found guilty of operating while impaired by a controlled substance and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; outpatient treatment; and $1,055 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of operating while intoxicated and one count of DWLS were dismissed.
– Nicholas Lyyn Kroll, 32, of 2588 S. 176th Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty July 27 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $290 in fines and costs. One count of DWLS was dismissed.
– Richard William Kuehler, 53, of 8686 Hogan Rd., Walkerville, was found guilty July 25 of malicious destruction of property (MDOP) and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; $371 in restitution; and $300 in fines and costs. One count of littering – objects in path of vehicle was dismissed.
– Phillip Edward Roberts, 31, of 111 Church St., Hart, was found guilty July 31 of domestic violence and was sentenced to 25 days in jail with credit for 24 days served; 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $200 in fines and costs.
– Dustin Jarod Kokx, 22, of 4945 E. Buchanan Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty July 25 of disorderly person – jostling and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $450 in fines and costs.
– Lee Edgren, 71, of 461 Helmsburg, Nashville, Indiana, was found guilty July 31 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; outpatient treatment; and $1,140 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of transporting open intoxicants was dismissed.
– Manual Monjaras III, 24, of 1604 Clay St., Edinburg, Texas, was found guilty July 31 of marijuana use and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Michael Scott Fessenden, 36, of 15 Griswold St., Hart, was found guilty July 31 of disorderly person – jostling and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. One count domestic violence was dismissed.
– Jeremy Lee Hartwick, 46, of 3566 S. 192nd Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty July 26 of wildlife conservation taking deer/bear/turkey and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; no hunting license for one year of conviction and the following three years; $2,000 in restitution; and $475 in fines and costs. His conviction stems from shooting two deer out of season, according to his court file.
Dismissals
– Russell Jay Ricketson, 37, of 4185 s. 72nd Ave., Shelby, on count of unlawful use of a license plate and one count of operating without insurance were dismissed July 28. “Defendant has already pleaded guilty to driving while license suspended (DWLS) which stemmed from the same incident…,” his court file states.
– David Michael Pearson, 45, of 6760 W. Deer Rd., Mears, one count of domestic violence was dismissed July 25 “without prejudice.”
– Jared Theodore Greiner, 33, of 1370 W. Monroe Rd., Hart, one count of second-offense domestic violence was dismissed July 25 “without prejudice.”
