HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

– Jonathan Daniel Mitchell, 27, of 1914 S. 17th St., Niles, was found guilty July 11 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); no alcohol for one year; subject to random preliminary breath tests (PBTs); and $1,055 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.

– Dustin John Goloversic, 25, of 2180 Auble Rd., Muskegon, was found guilty July 11 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $290 in fines and costs. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed.

– Shawn Kelly McCullough, 20, of 446 Glen Oaks Dr., Muskegon, was found guilty July 11 of allowing a person drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $290 in fines and costs. One count of driving while license suspended (DWLS) was dismissed.

– Shawn Ronald Alvesteffer, 23, of 2477 W. Jefferson Rd., Pentwater, was found guilty July 11 of failure to report an accident and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $325 in fines and costs. He was also found guilty July 11 of unlawful license plate use and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $125 in fines and costs. One count of operating without security was dismissed.

– Sonja Jean Walton, 35, of 8760 Maple Island Rd., Holton, was found guilty July 11 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $290 in fines and costs. One count of DWLS and one count of operating without insurance were dismissed.

– James Edward McMann, 56, of 2494 W. Whitetail Dr., Rothbury, was found guilty July 11 of DWLS and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $125 in fines costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of second-offense DWLS was dismissed.

Joshua Joseph Norman, 19, of 2838 E. Garfield Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty July 11 of DWLS and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of unlawful license plate use and one count of operating without insurance were dismissed.

Dismissal

– Nartinano Lopez Cantu, one count of second-offense DWLS was dismissed July 10 “without prejudice.”
