HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:
– Joseph Grant Prus, 24, of 11405 Russell Rd., Twin Lake, was found guilty March 20 of attempted indecent exposure and was sentenced to six months discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. One count of indecent exposure was dismissed.
– Obed Isaias Gaytan, 28, of 350 N. Maple St., Shelby, was found guilty March 20 of assault and battery and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs.
– Samuel Benjamin Mitteer, 27, of 3101 72nd Ave., Shelby, was found guilty March of driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to nine days in jail; 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. Second-offense notice was dismissed. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).
– Jeremy Dean Daily, 23, of 905 N. Gaylord Ave., Ludington, was found guilty March 21 of allowing a person under the influence to operate and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.
