The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:
Monday, March 13 2017:
– 12:05 a.m., (Hart Police Department), medical assist, 400 block of Washington Street, City of Hart.
– 10:25 a.m., (HPD), two-vehicle crash, no injuries, State and Washington streets, City of Hart. A citation was issued for no proof of insurance and expired registration
– 11:40 a.m., (HPD), harassment, 200 block of Dryden Street, City of Hart.
– 2:30 p.m., (HPD) medical assist, 100 block of Washington Street, City of Hart.
Tuesday, March 14, 2017:
– 1:35 a.m., (HPD), one-vehicle crash, no injuries, Oceana Drive and Polk Road, City of Hart. No Citation issued.
– 10:24 a.m., (HPD), a 24-year-old Mears man was arrested for parole violation at the Oceana County Probation and Parole Office, City of Hart. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
– 11:15 a.m., (HPD), parking complaint, 1000 block of State Street, City of Hart.
– 11:45 a.m., (HPD), gas drive-off, $29.51 in fuel stolen, 4000 block of Polk Road, City of Hart.
Wednesday, March 15, 2017:
– 12:15 a.m., (Michigan State Police), a 39-year-old Branch man was arrested on an outstanding warrant, 8000 block of East Washington Road, Colfax Township.
– 12:35 a.m., (HPD), alarm, 4000 block of Polk Road, City of Hart.
– 2:15 a.m., (HPD), medical assist, 200 block of Jefferson Street, City of Hart.
– 8 a.m.,(MSP), one-vehicle crash, no injuries, Polk Road and 64th Avenue, Hart Township.
– 12:20 p.m., (HPD), suspicious situation, 100 block of State Street, City of Hart.
– 4:06 p.m., (HPD), animal at large, 1000 block of State Street, City of Hart.
Thursday, March 16, 2017:
– 1 a.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), assist Pentwater Police Department, East Concord Street, Village of Pentwater.
– 2 a.m., (OCSO), warrant arrest, Muskegon County Jail. A 24-year-old Muskegon man was arrested on a warrant for failure to pay fines and costs for an open intoxicants charge issued in Oceana County.
– 7:30 a.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, East M 20 near 144th Avenue, Ferry Township.
– 7:58 a.m., (OCSO), motorist assist, North US 31 near Stony Lake Road, Grant Township.
– 9:24 a.m., (OCSO), alarm, Harrison Cove Avenue, Hart Township.
– 2:45 p.m., (OCSO), family dispute, East Deer Road, Leavitt Township.
– 3 p.m., (MSP), found property. A class ring was found in the McDonald’s parking lot and turned over to the post, Hart Township.
