HART — The following were arraigned recently in 78th District Court:
Felonies
Gerth
– Brandon Taylor Gerth, 31, of 7442 Skeels Rd., Holton, was arrested March 10 by the Michigan State Police (MSP) for two felony counts of aggravated stalking. Preliminary conference: March 27 at 3 p.m. Bail: $50,000/cash/surety.
– Nicholas James Gale, 25, of 5178 W. Fox Rd., Mears, was arrested March 9

by the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) for a felony of breaking and entering with intent and a fourth-offense habitual offender designation. Preliminary conference: March 20 at 3 p.m. Bail: $5,000/cash/surety/10 percent.
Jackson
– Steffon Jamal Jackson, 28, of 1346 E. Madison Rd., Apt. 2, Hart, was arrested Feb. 25 by OCSO for a felony of assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer. Preliminary conference: March 20 at 3 p.m. Bail: $1,000/cash/surety/10 percent.
– Joseph Fredrick Card, 27, of 20053 Pole Rd., Brethren, was arrested March 9 by the Hart police

Department (HPD) for a felony of interfering with an electronic communications device and a misdemeanor of domestic violence. Preliminary conference: March 20 at 3 p.m. Bail: $5,000/cash/surety/10 percent.
Ernst
– Hunter Reed Ernst, 21, of 1031 Brooke Land, Schererville, Indiana, was arrested by the State, Sheriffs’, Chiefs’ Enforcement of Narcotics Team (SSCENT) for a felony of cocaine possession. Preliminary conference: March 27 at 3 p.m. Bail: $5,000/personal.

– Calvin Lee Chase, 19, of 235 N. Division St., Walkerville; March 8; OCSO; breaking and entering – illegal entry. Pretrial: March 30 at 4 p.m. Bail: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent.
– Crystal Marie Vela, 27, of 9531 N. Business 31, Pentwater; March 7; OCSO; operating with a high blood alcohol content (BAC). Pretrial: March 30 at 3:30 p.m. Bail: $3,500/10 percent.
– Jacob Mathew Ustick, 24, of 2798 Jackson Rd., Hart; MSP; three counts of possession of firearms while under the influence. Pretrial: March 30 at 3:15 p.m. Bail: $5,000/cash/surety/10 percent.
– Danielle Velez, 46, of 8 N. Courtland Ave., Hart; March 8; Shelby Police Department (SPD); operating without insurance. Pretrial: March 30 at 2:45 p.m. Bail: $5,000/personal.
– Brian Keith Ellison, 59, of 142 Wildwood Trail, Apt. 2, Ludington; MSP; domestic violence. Plea/sentencing: March 27 at 1:30 p.m. Bail: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent.
