Warrant arrests, crashes keep deputies busy.

The following is recent activity of the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office:
Tuesday, March 14, 2017:
– 5:30 a.m., a 26-year-old Shelby woman arrested on a warrant issued in Muskegon County, West Johnson Road, Benona Township.
– 1:30 p.m., vehicle crash, no injuries, East Loop Road and South 198th Avenue, Newfield Township.
– 4:30 p.m., medical assist, East Tyler Road, Elbridge Township.
– 7:40 p.m., warrant pick-up at the Whitehall Police Department, a 35-year-old Whitehall man was arrested on a contempt of court charge issued in Oceana County.
– 8:10 p.m., suspicious situation, East Hazel Road, Elbridge Township.
– 11:45 p.m., operating while intoxicated, South Scenic Drive and Stony Lake Road, Benona Township.
Wednesday, March 15, 2017:
– 12:23 a.m., driving while license restricted, firearms offense, Maple Island Road, Grant Township.
– 6:16 a.m., general assist, North Oceana Drive and Filmore Road, Hart Township.
– 6:30 a.m., car/deer crash, East Filmore Road, Elbridge Township.
– 7:20 a.m., three-car crash, no injuries, Oceana Drive near Polk Road, Hart Township.
– 7:22 a.m., family troubles, North Maple Street, Village of Shelby.
– 8 a.m., vehicle crash, no injuries, North Oceana Drive and West Baseline Road, Hart Township.
– 1:17 p.m., motorist assist, southbound US 31 at Shelby Road, Shelby Township.
– 1:39 p.m., vehicle crash, no injuries, Juniper Beach and Ridge roads, Golden Township.
– 1:48 p.m., missing person/car – located, East Madison Road, Crystal Township.
– 2:06 p.m., vehicle slide-off, 34th Avenue and Deer Road, Golden Township.
– 6:34 p.m., minor in possession of alcohol and a civil dispute, West Bogue Street, Village of Walkerville.
– 7:39 p.m., car/deer crash, West Shelby Road and 40th Avenue, Benona Township.
– 7:44 p.m., suspicious situation, South 192nd Ave and White Road, Greenwood Township.
– 9:11 p.m., a 35-year-old Muskegon man was arrested on a probation and parole warrant issued in Oceana County, West Cleveland Road, Grant Township.
– 9:16 p.m., suspicious situation, Riverview Drive, Newfield Township.
– 10:59 p.m., a 47-year-old Hart man was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear issued in Oceana County, South Westshore Drive, Grant Township.
