HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

– Logan Thomas Hutchinson, 21, of 5548 N. 108th Ave., Hart, was found guilty March 13 of operating while intoxicated (OWI) and was sentenced to nine days in jail; 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; six months probation; outpatient treatment; $1,680 in fines and costs; not to purchase/possess a firearm; no alcohol/drugs; subject to testing, counseling and searches required by probation; and no assaultive behavior. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of second-offense OWI dismissed.

– Steven Curtis Cook, 36, of 252 Jane Ellen, Lowell, Michigan, was found guilty March 13 of marijuana use and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; outpatient treatment; driver’s license suspended 180 days/restricted after 30 days; and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– David Ray Oakes, Jr., of 5968 3rd St., Ludington, was found guilty March 13 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; outpatient treatment; six months probation; not to purchase/possess a firearm; subject to testing, searches and counseling as directed by probation; no alcohol/drugs; no assaultive behavior; and $1,565 in fines and costs.

– Daniel Antonio Escamilla, 36, of 2036 E. Madison Rd., Hart, was found guilty March 13 of third-degree retail fraud and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $657 in fines, costs and restitution. Charges in two other files were dismissed: third-degree retail fraud, operating without insurance, driving while license not valid and unlawful use of license plates.

– Timothy Gene Smith, 57, of 702 N. Emily St., Ludington, pleaded “no contest” March 13 to larceny less than $200 and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $434 in fines, costs and restitution.

– Marcus Leshun Perkins, 29, of 510 N. Emily St., Apt. C, Ludington, was found guilty March 13 of operating without insurance and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs.

– Tristan James Hill, 19, of 78 N. State St., Shelby, was found guilty March 13 of operating without insurance and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. One count of unlawful use of license plates was dismissed.

– Stacey Elaine Allen-Maynard, 35, of 6875 88th Ave., Rothbury was found guilty March 13 of operating without insurance and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of driving while license not valid and one count of failure to stop after a collision were dismissed.

– Matthew Michael Sarber, 28, of 2725 E. Forrest St., Lot 37, Rothbury, was found guilty March 14 of reckless and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $390 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
