Lightning strike suspected cause of bedroom fire.

BENONA TOWNSHIP — A house fire Friday morning, Feb. 24, on West Huron Trail that damaged a bedroom is believed to have been caused by a lightning strike during a thunderstorm, said Oceana County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Shane Hasty.
The Oceana County Fire Investigation Team responded to the 9:51 a.m. blaze. Hasty said. No one was hurt.
