The following is recent police activity:
Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017:
– 3:45 p.m., (Hart Police Department), hit-and-run crash, 2000 block of Comfort Drive, City of Hart.
Friday, Feb. 17 2017:
– 9:39 a.m., (HPD), a 26-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for probation violation, Oceana County Probation Parole Office, City of Hart.
– 5:59 p.m., (Michigan State Police), gas drive-off at Van Patten’s General Store, $17.51 in fuel stolen, 8000 block of 116th Avenue, Otto Township.
– 6:53 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, Arthur and Maple Island roads, Greenwood Township.
– 8:35 p.m., (HPD), two-vehicle crash, no injuries, no citations issued, City of Hart parking lot.
– 10:37 p.m., (MSP), a 59-year-old Ludington man was arrested for domestic violence, 7000 block of Range Street, Golden Township.
Saturday, Feb 18, 2017:
– 12:10 a.m., (MSP), a 20-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for domestic violence, 5000 block of 148th Avenue, Otto Township.
– 11:12 a.m., (HPD), larceny theft from a vehicle, 800 block of Dryden Street, City of Hart. A purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle. An investigation is ongoing.
– 7:30 p.m., (HPD), motorist assist, Oceana Drive, City of Hart.
Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017:
– 8:15 a.m., (MSP), a 61-year-old Ludington man was arrested for driving while license suspended (DWLS), US 31 and Shelby Road, Shelby Township.
– 2 p.m., (HPD), disturbance/harassment, 600 block of Dryden Street, City of Hart.
– 4:22 p.m., (HPD), a 33-year-old Shelby man was arrested for DWLS and on an outstanding warrant, Oceana Drive and Tyler Road, City of Hart.
– 5:27 p.m., (HPD), domestic assault/illegal entry, 500 block of State Street, City of Hart. A report will be submitted to the Oceana County Prosecutor’s Office.
