ROTHBURY — Surveillance camera footage could prove to be useful for the Hart post of the Michigan State Police’s investigation of two separate shoplifting incidents at Dollar General, located at 7637 Oceana Drive, said Trooper Dan Thomas.

The first theft occurred Saturday, Feb. 4, at 11:20 a.m. when a corkscrew wine bottle opener was stolen. The second theft occurred at noon when a thief stole a pizza from the store, Thomas said.

Both thefts remain under investigation.

Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017:

– 10 a.m., breaking and entering to a residence, 3000 block of Tahoe Trail, Lake Tahoe, Grant Township.

– 8:20 p.m., rollover crash, no injuries, northbound lane of US 31 near 66th Avenue, Shelby Township.

Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017:

– 3:30 p.m., a 24-year-old Rothbury man was arrested for domestic violence, 4500 block of 176th Avenue, Leavitt Township.

– 6:25 p.m., a 37-year-old Montague man was arrested for driving while license suspended, driving an unregistered vehicle and on outstanding warrants, Main Street, Walkerville Village.

– 10:30 p.m., an 11-year-old male juvenile was turned over to his parents following an alleged domestic assault, 2900 block of 116th Avenue, Elbridge Township.
