Hesperia man arrested for probation violation.

NEWFIELD TOWNSHIP — A 26-year-old Hesperia man was arrested by Michigan State Police troopers from the Hart post for probation violation Wednesday, Feb. 1, at 1:44 p.m. in the 8400 block of East M 20. The Oceana County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.

– 5:42 p.m., (OCSO), domestic assault, 2400 block of South 56th Avenue, Benona Township. A 56-year-old Shelby man is a suspect. The case was turned over to Oceana County Prosecutor’s Office.

– 12:59 a.m., (OCSO), injured deer, North 144th Avenue and Minke Road, Crystal Township.

– 2:56 a.m., (OCSO), assist to Shelby Police Department with the warrrant arrest of a 27-year-old Rothbury man for failure to appear.
