HART — The following were arraigned recently in 78th District Court:

– Jason Lee Spears, 22, of 3562 Algonquin Dr., Muskegon, was arrested Jan. 7 by the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) on felony charges of third-degree fleeing a police officer; firearms possession by a felon; and second-offense habitual offender. Preliminary conference: Jan. 30 at 3 p.m. Bail: $5,000/cash/surety/10 percent. Charges stem from a Sept. 23, 2016 incident in Greenwood Township.

– Diego Hernandez-Cortes, 33, of 16171 Fruit Ridge, Kent City, was arrested Jan. 21 by OCSO for a felony of unlawful driving away of an

automobile (UDAA). Preliminary conference: Feb. 6 at 3 p.m. Bail: $5,000/cash/surety/10 percent. Charge stems from a Nov. 24, 2016 incident in Crystal Township.

– Lara Nichole Smith, 26, of 5839 W. 5th St., Mears, was arrested Jan. 19 by the Michigan State Police (MSP) for a felony of larceny in a building. Preliminary conference: Jan. 30 at 3 p.m. Bail: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent. Charge stems from a Jan. 1 incident in Colfax Township, alleging that Smith stole a computer tablet and $10 in coins from a residence.

– Danella Marie Conkle, 40, of 4300 N. 188th Ave., Walkerville, was arrested Jan. 6 by OCSO for a felonies of forgery and uttering and

publishing. Preliminary conference: Jan. 30 at 3 p.m. Bail: $5,000/cash/surety/10 percent. Charges stem from a Dec. 7, 2016 incident at the Lake Osceola Bank in Walkerville, alleging that Conkle “did falsely make, alter, or counterfeit a promissory note or an order, acquittance or discharge for money or other property with intent to injure or defraud,” regarding the first count, her court file states. For the second count, her file states that she “did utter and publish as true, a certain false, forged, altered or counterfeit record, instrument or other writing with intent to injure or defraud knowing said instrument to be false, altered, forged or counterfeited.” Each count alleges that  $400 was illegally obtained.

– Stephen Michael Ryder, 26, of 53 S. State St., Hart; Jan. 23; Hart Police Department (HPD); disorderly person – drunk. Pretrial: Feb. 1 at 4:15 p.m. Bail: $1,500/cash/surety/10 percent.

– Dametric Dion Ross, 31, of 7200 Progress Rd., Twin Lake; Jan. 7; MSP; marijuana possession. Pretrial: Jan. 24 at 9:45 a.m. Bail: $1,500/cash/surety/10 percent.

– Betty Mae Winans, 44, of 5 N. 160th Ave., Hesperia; Jan. 3; HPD; driving while license suspended (DWLS). Pretrial: Jan. 24 at 1 p.m. Bail: $1,500/personal.

– Brandon Leon Salazar, 19, of 23 Elton St., Ecorse, Michigan; Jan. 14; HPD; driving while license not valid. Pretrial: Feb. 1 at 4 p.m. Bail: $1,000/personal.

– Shawn Alan Goerbig, 37, of 7080 Surf Court, Rothbury; Jan. 18; MSP; operating a vehicle without insurance; second-offense DWLS; and malicious telecommunications use. Pretrial: Feb. 1 at 3:15 p.m. Bail: $15,000/cash/surety/10 percent.

– Brent Richard Norberg, 45, of 4445 S. Maple Island Rd., Hesperia; Jan. 12; OCSO; DWLS. Pretrial: Feb. 1 at 2:45 p.m. Bail: $1,000/cash/surety/10 percent.

– Douglas Albert Szost, 54, of 3320 Riley Thompson, Twin Lake; Jan, 17; MSP; operating while intoxicated (OWI). Pretrial: Feb. 7 at 2:45 p.m. Bail: $3,500/cash/surety/10 percent.

– Dolly Marie Little, 39, of 412 Hart St., Hart; HPD; breaking and entering a vehicle to steal property (Dec. 13 incident). Pretrial: Feb. 7 at 1:30 p.m. Bail: $1,000/cash/surety/10 percent.

– Duane Robert Bigsby, 35, of 4775 W. Adams Rd., Pentwater; OCSO; operating a vehicle without insurance. Pretrial: Feb. 1 at 3 p.m. Bail: $5,000/personal.
