HART TOWNSHIP — The Oceana County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint Monday, Jan. 23, at 4:20 p.m. of approximately 200 Christmas trees stolen in 1900 block of North 94th Avenue.

The sheriff’s office received a complaint Monday at 4:51 p.m. of a Beretta 9mm pistol that was stolen in the 4600 block of East Arthur Road in Greenwood Township.

Deputies received a complaint at 10:59 a.m. Monday after fisherman snagged a purse at Longbridge and the Pentwater River. Upon inspecting its contents, it was found to be a stolen purse from Cedar Point Park last September, said Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast. The case is under investigation.

– 4:34 p.m., illegal dumping, 2400 block of North 56th Avenue, Golden Township.

– 8:10 p.m., assist to Oceana County Corrections at the Oceana County Jail, Hart.
