HART — The following were arraigned recently in 78th District Court:

– Kyle Jeffrey Forbes, 22, of 4313 S. 162nd Ave., Hesperia, was arrested Dec. 31 by the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office for felonies of felonious assault and interfering with electronic communications and a misdemeanor of domestic violence. Preliminary conference: Jan. 23. Bail: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent.

Misdemeanors

– Juanita Lynn Westerbeek, 43, of 1981 Wolf Rd., Hart; Dec. 18; Shelby Police Department; driving while license suspended (DWLS). Pretrial: Feb. 7 at 11 a.m. Bail: $5,000/personal.

– Federico Flores, 54, of 2301 N. 116th Ave., Hart; Jan. 6; MSP; DWLS. Pretrial: Jan. 24 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $5,000/personal. Separate file: second-offense DWLS. Bail: $1,000/cash/surety/10 percent.

– Lucas Wade Darling, 38, of 7053 Hilltop Court, Pentwater; Dec. 29; MSP; domestic violence. Pretrial: Jan. 24 at 1:45 p.m. Bail:: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent cash.

– Matthew Scott Murar, 23, of 895 Emerson Ave., Muskegon; MSP; marijuana use. Pretrial: Jan. 24 at 10:30 a.m. Bail: $2,500/personal.

– Timothy Lee Luce, 47, of 786 Holton Whitehall Rd., Whitehall; Jan. 8; OCSO; failure to apply for snowmobile registration. Pretrial: Jan. 24 at 10:45 a.m. Bail: $1,000/personal.

– Ronald Errol Morton, 57, of 1165 E. Wilson Rd., Scottville; Dec. 17; MSP; operating without insurance. Pretrial: Jan. 24 at 9:45 a.m. Bail: $5,000/personal.

Sentencings

– Terry Alan Twinning, 36, of 2223 Duck Lake Rd., Whitehall, was found guilty Jan. 17 of failure to wear hunter orange – wildlife conservation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $115 in fines and costs. Charges of possessing a weapon without a license and recreational trespassing were dismissed.

– Jason Eugene Szendre, 38, of 2539 Sycamore St., Twin Lake, was found guilty Jan. 18 of DWLS and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs.
