HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:
– Brent Arthur Miklos, 19, of 60 N. State St., Shelby, was found guilty Jan. 9 of operating without security/insurance and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time serve if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. He was also found guilty Jan. 9 of unlawful license plates and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $125 in fines and costs. One count of driving while license not valid was dismissed.
– Brandelyn Marie Hamilton, 39, of 2196 Union St., Shelby, was found guilty Jan. 10 of driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).
– Isaac Robert Gill, 28, of 260 W. Main St., Walkerville, was found guilty Jan. 10 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $290 in fines and costs.
– Don Vega, 65, of 7179 W. Filmore Rd., Mears, was found guilty Jan. 10 of operating without insurance and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs.
– Lori Michelle Martin, 55, of 5730 W. Fox Rd., Mears, was found guilty Jan. 9 of operating while intoxicated (OWI) and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); and $1,140 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Tobias Lee Garza, 23, of 502 S. Division St., Whitehall, was found guilty Nov. 28 of operating while impaired and was sentenced Jan. 9 to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; must complete substance abuse evaluation recommendation; and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. Counts of OWI and DWLS were dismissed.
– Michelle Lee Conley, 33, of 8733 E. Kinney Rd., Branch, was found guilty Jan. 9 of OWI and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; outpatient treatment; and $1,155 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating with a high blood alcohol content (BAC) was dismissed.
– Bobbie Joe Holder, 54, of 143 N. Jebavy Dr., Ludington, was found guilty Jan. 9 of operating with a high BAC and was sentenced to 180 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; outpatient treatment; and $1,305 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of OWI was dismissed.
– Lindsey Rhae Clark, 28, of 2331 McCracken, Muskegon, was found guilty Jan. 9 of larceny less than $200 and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $417 in fines, costs and restitution.
– Jodi May Smith, 33, of 2309 Howald Ave., Flint, was found guilty Jan. 9 of OWI with an occupant under 16 years of age and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time serve if imposed; outpatient treatment; and $635 in fines and costs. She was found guilty Jan. 9 of a second count of OWI with an occupant under 16 years of age and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $520 in fines and costs. Convictions reportable to SOS. One count of operating with a high BAC was dismissed.
– Nikulas Brandon Sigurdsson, 26, of 5148 Skeels Rd., Holton, was found guilty Jan. 9 of OWI and was sentenced to nine days in jail; 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; outpatient treatment; six months probation; not to purchase/possess a firearm; subject to counseling/testing/searches as required by probation; no alcohol/drugs; no contact with probationers or felons; no assaultive behavior; and $1,680 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating with a high BAC and one count of reckless driving were dismissed.
– Kathleen Ellen Richardson, 31, of 5562 E. Madison Rd., Walkerville, was found guilty Jan. 9 of OWI and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; outpatient treatment; and $465 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating with a high BAC was dismissed.
– Elsa Johanna Fulco, 48, of 2725 Forrest St., Rothbury, was found guilty Jan. 9 of OWI and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; outpatient treatment; and $1,155 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One felony count of controlled substance possession – narcotic or cocaine less than 25 grams was dismissed.
– Austin Michael Nead, 20, of 6659 Clock Rd., Walkerville, was found guilty Jan. 9 of failure to sign sex offender registration and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $450 in fines and costs.
– Patrick Michael Flanery, 48, of 4842 W. Pierce Rd., Shelby, was found guilty Jan. 4 of recreational trespassing and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $335 in fines and costs.
Dismissals
– Dennis Bradford King, 52, of 5441 E. Arthur Rd., Hesperia, one count of assault and battery was dismissed Jan. 9 in a delayed sentence.
– Brandon Scott DeWeerdt, 31, of 1527 N. Oceana Dr., Hart, one count of violation of a restricted license was dismissed Jan. 5. No witness was available, his court file states.
