NEWFIELD TOWNSHIP — The Hart post of the Michigan State Police is investigating an incident involving arson and malicious destruction of property reported Monday, Dec. 26, at 1:32 p.m. in the 2000 block of South Lakeview Drive.

A front door to a house was damaged, police said. No other information was immediately available.
