HART — The following were sentenced this week in 27th Circuit Court:

– Aaron Vaughn Jacobs, 31, of 7044 N. 92nd Ave., Hart, was found guilty Oct. 24 of retaining a financial transaction device without consent and illegal use of a financial transaction device. He was sentenced Dec. 19 to serve six months up front of a one-year discretionary jail term with credit for 106 days served; two years probation; $996.81 in restitution; and $468 in fines and costs. One count of larceny from a person was dismissed.

– Jennifer Wigren, 33, of 50 Woodrow Rd., Shelby, was found guilty Nov. 7 of using a computer to commit a crime. She was sentenced Dec.

19 to serve 77 days up front of an 11-month discretionary jail term with credit for 77 days served; two years probation; no contact order will be deferred to Oceana County Probate Court; and she is permitted use of a flip phone with no Internet access. One count of second-degree criminal sexual conduct was dismissed. Related story here
