HART — Six people are injured, and 80 residents are displaced due to an apartment fire in the 700 block of Main Street that ignited at 12:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 15.

Two buildings were destroyed in the fire, according to Hart Area Fire Chief Ken Klotz.

Six people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, and apartment residents were evacuated as a precaution. American Red Cross is helping those who have been displaced.

Investigators are on scene trying to determine what caused the fire.
