GRANT TOWNSHIP — A 23-year-old Illinois man received minor injuries when the Ford Ranger pickup truck he was driving flipped over along the shoulder of southbound US 31 south of Webster Road Sunday, Dec. 4, at approximately 4:30 p.m., according to Oceana County Sheriff’s Deputy Ryan Schiller.

The man, who was wearing a seatbelt, lost control on the slippery roadway, Schiller said. He was treated at scene and did not require transport by Oceana County EMS to the hospital.

Grant Township Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
