HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

– Richard William Kuehler, 52, of 8686 E. Hogan Rd., Walkerville, pleaded “no contest” Nov. 21 to reckless use of firearms and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; firearm to be returned to owner; and $450 in fines and costs. One count of firearms possession under the influence and one count of breaking and entering – illegal entry were dismissed.

– David Allen Ripley, 38, of 4835 S. 1st St., New Era, pleaded “no contest” Oct. 31 to operating while intoxicated (OWI) and domestic violence was sentenced to 28 days in jail with credit for 28 days served; six months probation; not to purchase/ possess a firearm; subject to searches, counseling and testing required by probation; no alcohol/drugs; no contact with probationers or felons; no assaultive behavior; no contact with victim; 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $315 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of third-offense domestic violence was dismissed.

– Christopher Paul Replogle, 22, of 5465 Deer Rd., Walkerville, was found guilty Nov. 22 of driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). Second-offense designation dismissed.

– Michelle Jean Jobbins, 34, of 3242 Abbey Rd., Hart, was found guilty Nov. 22 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $290 in fines and costs. One count of operating without security (insurance) was dismissed.

– John Warren Dubois, 38, of 7955 S. Lake Rd., Mears, was found guilty Nov. 22 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $290 in fines and costs. One count of DWLS dismissed.

– Thomas Arthur Meoak, 31, of 130 Munn St., Hesperia, was found guilty Nov. 21 of OWI and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; outpatient treatment; and $1,205 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating with a high blood alcohol content (BAC) was dismissed.

– William Bronson Hill, Jr., 40, of 2720 E. Arthur Rd., Rothbury, was found guilty Nov. 22 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $290 in fines and costs. One count of unlawful license plate use was dismissed.

– Mark Thomas LaBelle, 60, of 1119 59th St., SE, Kentwood, was found guilty of allowing a person under the influence to drive a motor vehicle and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. One count of OWI dismissed.

– Collin Ray Bush, 32, of 2725 Forrest St., Lot 16, Rothbury, was found guilty Nov. 21 of operating without insurance and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. One count of failure to report an accident dismissed.

– Ryan Lee Folkema, 23, of 8569 W. Thomas St., Shelby, was found guilty Nov. 21 of third-degree retail fraud and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs.

– Estevan Javier Martinez, 27, of 274 N. Michigan Ave., Shelby, pleaded “no contest” Nov. 21 to third-degree retail fraud and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $405 in fines, costs and restitution.

– Albert Davis, 28, of 285 Lakeview Dr., White Cloud, was found guilty Nov. 21 of sex offender – failure to pay registration fee and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence and credit for time served if imposed.

Dismissal

– Cheyenne Kay Schuler, 31, of 2837 186th St., Hesperia, one count of third-degree retail fraud was dismissed Nov. 21 “on the motion of the court without prejudice,” according to court records.
