Customer causes commotion over lottery ticket prize.

HART — A female customer at Dave’s Party Store on Wood Street caused a disturbance over a lottery ticket prize amount Wednesday, Nov. 9, at 7:10 p.m., according to Hart Police Chief Juan Salazar.

The woman insisted that she won $25 and not $2 as the cashier stated, Salazar said. The woman became irate, and police were called to the scene. Police asked her to leave the store, which she did. The pay-out was in fact $2, he said. The customer was not arrested or cited.
