WALKERVILLE — Bring your family and friends to Walkerville Wesleyan Church’s inaugural “Fall Festival” this Saturday, Nov. 12, from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The church, located at the 144 S. Hamon St., will offer activities for all ages, including: a silent auction; a Pokemon Go activity called “Go Therefore” with sheriff safety; a free throw competition; kids’ activities; face painting; a chili contest; a pastry contest; brats, chili, chips and a drink; contest awards; and a “sing or pay” concert.
For more details, check out Walkerville Wesleyan Church’s Facebook page.
To register for the chili and pastry contest, contact the church ahead of time. The registration fee is $10. Registration forms are available at the church or they can be emailed by request. Contact the church by calling 231-873-5040 or emailing Walkerville_Wesleyan_2014@hotmail.com
This is a fundraiser event, and all proceeds benefit improving the church’s parking lot. The Walkerville Wesleyan Church holds many community events and dinners. Having a paved parking lot would improve access for visitors and members.
