HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

– Priscilla Marie Gutierrez, 25, of 3219 Garfield Rd., New Era, was found guilty Sept. 26 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to nine days in jail; 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; six months probation; outpatient treatment; and $1,715 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of second-offense operating while intoxicated was dismissed.

– Tyler Scott Tanis, 19, of 2670 N. 72nd Ave., Hart, was found guilty Oct. 24 of marijuana possession and was sentenced to nine days in jail; one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; six months probation; driver’s license suspended 180 days/restricted after 30 days; not to purchase or possess a firearm; no alcohol/drugs; subject to testing, counseling and searches as required by probation; no contact with probationers or felons; and $550 in fines and costs.

– Travis Dean Dostal, 27, of 1761 Zimmer Rd., Shelby, was found guilty Oct. 24 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; outpatient treatment; and $1,140 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating with a high blood alcohol content (BAC) was dismissed.

– Armando Gregorio Gutierrez, 27, of 3219 Garfield Rd., New Era, was found guilty Oct. 24 of driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Christopher Glen-Todd Frantz, 30, of 1122 W. Broadway Ave., Muskegon, was found guilty Oct. 24 of operating an ORV while intoxicated and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; ORV license suspended for six months; six months probation; and $1,125 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Hannah Jo Schmitt, 24, of 3098 S. Maple Island Rd., Fremont, was found guilty Oct. 3 of malicious destruction of property (MDOP) and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. One count of assault and battery was dismissed.

– Theodore Alan Smith, 43, of 2088 Joy St., Mears, was found guilty Oct. 11 of third-degree retail fraud and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $150 in fines and costs.

– Amanda Lynn Steffes, 26, of 2218 186th Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty Oct. 24 of probation violation and was sentenced to nine days in jail; six months probation; and $650 in fines and costs. Her probation stems from a June 1, 2015 conviction of assault and battery, according to her court file.

– Joshua Tyler Reeves, 20, of 1575 Paris St., Logan, Ohio, was found guilty Oct. 24 of assault and battery and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and a $75 fine. Restitution is open for 90 days.

– Matthew Clifford Guenther, 31, of 15190 Briarwood Dr., Grand Haven, was found guilty Oct. 24 of improper transport of medical marijuana and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs.

– Steven Charles Wernstrom, 37, of 9151 W. Buchanan Rd., Shelby, was found guilty Oct. 24 of allowing a person under the influence to operate and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. One count of second-offense operating while intoxicated was dismissed.

– Theresa Kay Young, 33, of 473 Dune Scooter Dr., Mears, was found guilty Oct. 24 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with court orders; credit for time served if imposed; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); and $1,055 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.
