HART — Employees of the New Era Wesco have contacted OCP, indicating that the defendant who pleaded guilty Monday, Oct. 24, in 27th Circuit Court to one felony count of embezzlement $1,000-$20,000 incorrectly testified that he was an operations manager.

Jason Timothy Lonsbury, 35, of 2374 W. Pike Rd., New Era told Judge Anthony A. Monton that he was an operations manager for the store. Monton specifically asked if Lonsbury was a cashier, and Lonsbury said, “No, I was the operations manager.”

Since the story Wesco manager pleads guilty to embezzling lottery tickets ran, OCP has been contacted by Wesco employees who say he was not a manager.
