Thieves smash coin machines during Lewis’ Farm Market break-in.

GRANT TOWNSHIP — Police are seeking the public’s help in tracking down suspects who allegedly broke into Lewis’ Farm Market Saturday night,  Oct. 22, and stole money from coin machines.

“On Sunday morning, the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to Lewis’ Farm Market at 4180 West M-20 for a break-in complaint,” states a press release from Lt. Craig Mast. “Deputies found that during the night suspects had broken in and smashed several coin-operated machines taking the coins from those machines. The suspects also did damage to doors within the market and caused other damage. This investigation is still ongoing, and if anyone would have information about who may have been involved we ask that they call the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office at 231-873-2121.”
